Flower Farm

I tried to make this several times and only seemed to work out when I added a sliver of treeline you see at the top of the photo. I guess it helps with scale and perspective, people like that. No light for photography so I had to work with tones, composition, color, lens perspective, dof, etc. Lots of ways to make a pic. This is so typical of the "almost nothing in focus" images I've been making. Eventually maybe I'll posting images where nothing is in focus, not even fog. It's possible, I think, maybe. I'll make millions.

Rotting Trucks

The front end of these trucks were covered pretty good and the home of the owners within view so that ruled out a frontal shot. I had to try to do something. I got low and included the leaves and this helped rid some of the sky. It makes me think how soon these trucks will be part of the ground, rather than the landscape. No more potatoes for theses guys.

Green Field

This is an image of a lot of nothing. Except layers I guess. The green is what I noticed first and then it was just a matter of composing with what was left over to make something of it. I probably like this more than anyone because sometimes when I shoot, I can feel a sense of accomplishment. Just knowing what I started with, what I found, and then doing something with it, does it for me. I think the fog helped again by hiding the treeline. It wouldn't have ruined the image, but if I had, you'd be looking at something else right now.
