As soon as this came into view I new there was something to be made. I aimed up, down, lowered myself, etc. I didn't want to take to much time and lose the clouds. The swirl pattern takes the place of the the missing blades. A psychological illusion. The windmill is neat, but without the clouds the shot is nothing. I find it odd, even now with all the clouds I've shot, that today, with this subject, I get swirly clouds. Perfect!
